In a few days I will start another sacred journey. I do a lot of jouneying in my shamanic work and in meditation, but this time I will take my body with me.
Peru, we do together, body and soul!
One night, I get up a 3AM and 24 hours later, I will have my first arrival, not yet at my destination, but aleady close-by.
I just love this kind of travelling, when I have a ticket from a long time and when the time comes near the excitement and anticipation grows. Then one moment you step out of the house and enter a river that brings you to your destination and every moment of the journey is a destination in itself.
Plans are about where I spend time and that I will give my body all the room to heal and transform, giving it rest and a plant diet to cleanse.

I hope the frogs that I had removed from my room last time will have forgiven me and I invite them kindly back to eat the moscitos while I sleep. And the beautiful tarantula, may she come back for a visit (on the terrace, not in my room, if possible) and have a conversation. The thousands of birds around and their voices all day long. And what animals will come up to me this time?
Towards the end of the journey, I hope to visit the highest altitude I could manage so far, the glacier lakes of Ausangate mountain. A holy mountain for the Q’ero people. We will do a despacho there, a ceremony of gratitude and go in communion, in meditation with the mountain spirit. Ever since I was there, I can call upon this mountain spirit in times of crisis or need and I get responses and strength.
Peru is healing and learning for me. My wonderful mentor and friend Don Chino will guide me and teach me and the land, the mountains and rocks and the ancient altars will do the same.
I am deeply connected with the land. I have worked with these altars many life times before and there is so much for me to recover and re-discover and bring into my practise of today.

So, I go back in time to go forward, again and again, physically and spiritually. It is not about living like we did thousands of years ago, but the wisdom and knowledge of thousands of years, natural law, ago is valid also today and bringing it into our every day life, is evolution.
In these altitudes I had to learn to walk again, walk slowly, take the example of a turtoise, steady and in rythm with the breathing, with the intake of oxygen. Always taking care of the needs of the body. A lesson that I had to learn and I am still learning. My body is my earth!
While writing this in Bucharest, I am half there. Maybe I am always half there and in many other places of this earth as well. It so often happens that I visit a new land, a new place and I instantly feel at home, feel the deep connection and I wonder, do I remain there or do I find myself there?
We are very simple in our needs, we need love! This is our main drive and all we do, in the end, is to be loved. At the same time, we are incredibly complex. It is like I will never be able to discover all about my soul in this life time, but I try!
So, dear Universe, let this journey be about un-conditional love!
